Full Spectrum And Broad Spectrum CBD: Make A Wise Decision

FULL SPECTRUM

Definition: Showing a complete range of typical or possible elements: comprehensive.

In reference to CBD, full-spectrum simply means it includes the full plant extract. In other words, it contains, along with the CBD, other plant molecules – terpenes (which is a combination of hydrogen and carbon), cannabinoids, flavonoids and fatty acids found in the plant.

BROAD SPECTRUM

Broad Spectrum, on the other hand, means zero THC. When manufacturers use additional processing to remove the THC, unfortunately, they can also remove their natural essence.

Full Spectrum and Broad Spectrum CBD

Is One Better than the Other?

There is much speculation on which is the better of the two. Some studies suggest that full-spectrum products are better because of the other cannabinoids. However, if you have an intolerance to THC or just don’t want to take it, you will still get lots of benefits from broad-spectrum CBD products.

Product labels should include the words Full Spectrum or Whole Plant.
